Union leaders representing almost 400,000 workers are expected to plan a day of protest.

Both sides in the Irish Ferries dispute are tonight waiting to hear from the Labour Relations Commission following separate exploratory talks earlier today

Meanwhile, Labour wants the Government to support its private members' Bill to stop, what it calls, 'rogue employers' from using flags of convenience.
