Government ministers are reportedly due to discuss a major package of anti-crime measures at their weekly cabinet meeting today.

Reports this morning said legislation due to be presented by Minister for Justice Michael McDowell would include provisions for the electronic tagging of some offenders and the introduction of anti-social behaviour orders.
