Sharp rise in numbers seeking drug-abuse treatment

The number of people in the North seeking treatment for drug misuse has shot up by 24% in the past year, it was revealed today.

At the same time, the Health Promotions Agency said almost a third of people aged between 15 and 34 in the North have taken illegal drugs.
