Man charged with endangerment of infant released on bail

A 33 year-old Dublin man charged with endangerment of his ten week old infant was released on bail today by Dublin District Court.

Judge Leo Malone released him on condition that he wouldn’t remove the child from Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin without prior agreement with the staff there, and that he sign-on daily.

The baby girl, who has a serious heart condition, went missing from the hospital yesterday morning and was returned six hours later after Gardaí were alerted.
