Antrim woman treated for head injuries after mugging
A woman in her 50s is been treated for head injuries and severe shock after she was attacked by four men in Co Antrim.
The assault happened as she walked her dog on Belfast Road in Carrickfergus shortly before midnight last night.
After demanding money and her mobile, the men punched her, leaving her unconscious on the ground.
It was one of a series of similar attacks in the area in recent weeks and the PSNI are investigating a possible link between them.
