Blaze causes extensive damage at Turf Club HQ
The body regulating Irish horse racing is this morning assessing the damage caused by a major fire at its headquarters.
There are fears that many important documents may have been lost in the blaze which broke out in the turf club in the Curragh last night.
Six fire crews were called to the scene just after 7pm.
The club's Chief Executive Denis Egan said the extent of the losses is not yet know.
