Man's injured body discovered in Clare

The body of a man has been discovered in a laneway in Parteen, Co Clare.

Gardaí say the man sustained injuries to his back, but cannot confirm whether he was shot or stabbed.

Gardaí at Henry St garda station in Limerick are investigating the find. The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
