Fireworks seized in police raids

Gardaí have seized thousands of euro worth of fireworks, cigarettes and pirate DVDS in raids on two houses in Co Meath, a spokesman said today.

Fireworks with an estimated street value of €50,000 were found in the searches, along with €30,000 worth of counterfeit DVDs.
