Shopping mall to create 1,000 jobs

More than 1,000 new jobs are to be created in Kildare with the development of a new state-of-the-art shopping centre.

The Whitewater mall in Newbridge will host around 50 department stores and fashion outlets.

The centre is due to be open next spring and will be the biggest retail development outside Dublin.
