Two men were being questioned today by detectives investigating the death of a teenager in a Co Tyrone road crash.

Michael Dobson, 15, from Cookstown, was killed in an accident on the main A4 Dungannon to Ballygawley Road last month.

He was travelling in a white Peugeot 309 that collided with a Ford Transit van on September 3.

A man in the Peugeot with him and both occupants of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Police probing the crash arrested both suspects at a house in Cookstown today.

The pair, aged 20 and 61, are understood to be related.

They were being questioned about a range of dangerous driving offences, a police spokeswoman confirmed.
