IFA says Irish safety standards to prevent spread of bird flu

High safety standards here will help prevent any spread of the deadly avian influenza virus in Ireland according to the Irish Farmers' Association.

Officials in Romania are killing thousands more birds today after samples taken from three ducks proved positive for the lethal strain H5N1.
