Attack victim tied to telephone pole

A man was left strapped to a telephone pole today after he was badly beaten by several men who had asked for a lift in his van.

Gardaí said the man was found at around 9.30am this morning in a laneway outside Bunclody, Co Wexford, tied to the pole with ratchet-type belts his attackers had found in the back of his truck.
