Truck driver dies after hit-and-run in Co Meath

Gardaí in Co Meath are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a truck driver in Clonee last night.

The man had stepped out of his cab while stopped on the N3 in Bracetown when he was struck by a passing vehicle at around 9.30pm.

The vehicle failed to stop at the scene and continued travelling northwards towards Navan.
