Weekend road death toll rises to eight

The death of a man in road accident in Co Donegal in the early hours of this morning has brought the number of deaths on the roads this weekend to eight.

The latest accident occurred at the Burnfoot Road in Muff at approximately 3.30am, when a car went out of control and hit a ditch.
