Gardaí release name of Tipperary road accident victim
Gardaí have named the first victim of last night's six fatalities on Ireland's roads.
Samantha Butler, a 20-year-old from Carrick-on-Suir in Co Tipperary, died in a collision near Clonmel last night.
Meanwhile, the county Donegal town of Buncrana is in mourning following the deaths of five young people in a car crash near Muff, on the Inishowen peninsula, early this morning.
The victims, three men and two women, were all in their 20s.
Their names have not yet been officially released, but at least two are known to have been related.
