Regulator to announce decision on Dublin Airport charges

The Aviation Regulator is due to reveal today whether he is sanctioning Dublin Airport's request for a 50% increase in landing charges.

The Aviation Regulator is due to reveal today whether he is sanctioning Dublin Airport's request for a 50% increase in landing charges.

The Dublin Airport Authority has requested permission to increase charges from €5 to €7.50 per passenger to fund the development of a second terminal.

It has said it needs the money to raise revenue for the €200m terminal.
