DUP's Donaldson: 'I remain to be convinced'
Democratic Unionist Party MP Jeffrey Donaldson said he remained to be convinced about IRA disarmament.
He said: “We need greater transparency of this process and we’ve been left short on detail. There has been a lot of fine rhetoric and fine words, but there is little substance. That is the difficulty.
“I have to got to convince a very sceptical unionist community who have been here before. Promises have been made before, there have been false dawns.
“Based on what I’ve heard, I remain to be convinced myself that this time it’s for real – that all IRA weapons have been decommissioned in an effective manner. We lack concrete evidence...”
