Biotechnology firm to create 120 jobs in Waterford

A biotechnology company is planning to create 120 new jobs as part of an expansion of its factory in Waterford.

Genzyme, one of the world's leading biotechnology firms, already employs 250 workers at the plant in the city's IDA industrial estate.

The company has been operating in Waterford for four years.
