Fewer than half of adults attend weekly church services

Fewer than half of Irish adults attend weekly church services, according to an opinion poll published this morning.

Only 44% of respondents to the Irish Examiner/Lansdowne poll said they went to church at least once a week, with women attending more regularly than men.
