Two bags stolen from victim of O’Connell St bus accident

Gardaí in Dublin have revealed that one of the two women knocked down by a bus on Dublin's O'Connell Street last week had her bags snatched while she lay on the road in a serious condition.

Gardaí said two bags were stolen from the woman while witnesses were coming to her aid following the accident last Thursday afternoon.

The 60-year-old English tourist remains on a life-support machine in hospital today.

Her 56-year-old companion sustained less serious injuries in the accident.
