Britain and US planning conference on NI police reforms

The British and US governments are planning to hold a conference early next year to examine the progress made on policing reform in the North.

The meeting, which will review the implementation of the Patten Report, is being interpreted as an attempt to persuade Sinn Féin to endorse the PSNI.
