Rachel O'Reilly inquest adjourned for six months

An inquest into the death of Dublin woman Rachel O'Reilly reopened briefly today before being adjourned for six months.

The inquest originally opened earlier this year.

The 30-year-old was found dead at her home in the north Co Dublin village of Naul last October after failing to collect one of her two young sons from a creche.

She had been beaten to death with a blunt instrument.

Two men and woman were arrested and questioned in connection with the killing, but were subsequently released without charge.

The inquest into Ms O'Reilly's death was adjourned until March today after Gardaí said their investigation was ongoing.
