Irish women are more educated than ever about avoiding and detecting breast cancer, according to a survey conducted by the Irish Cancer Society.

Irish women are more educated than ever about avoiding and detecting breast cancer, according to a survey conducted by the Irish Cancer Society.

The society said three-quarters of respondents to the questionnaire checked their breasts regularly, which is twice the number who said they did so in a similar study four years ago.
