Raonaid Murray inquest adjourned for further year
The inquest into the death of teenager Raonaid Murray six years ago has been adjourned for a further year due to the ongoing garda investigation into the killing.
The Gardaí requested the delay when the case came before the County Coroner's Court in Dun Laoghaire today.
Ms Murray, who was 17, was stabbed to death near her home in the Glenageary area of south Co Dublin in September 1999.
Gardaí have interviewed more than 8,000 people in relation to her death, but nobody has ever been charged or convicted.
