Girl escaped abduction bid when attackers panicked
A teenage girl escaped an abduction attempt in Newry at the weekend after a three-man gang panicked when they saw a couple in the area, it emerged today.
The 17-year-old sustained a black eye on the right hand side of her face, a bruise and cut to the other eye, a cut to her right knee and cuts to the left leg during the bid to pull her into a blue saloon car on the Chancellor Road at around 3.30am yesterday.
