Woman dies in early-morning car crash in Co Mayo

A woman has died in a car crash near the Co Mayo village of Straide in the early hours of this morning.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, which happened at around 2am in Knockagarraun, around 10 miles from Castlebar.

She is believed to be from the locality, but Gardaí are withholding her name until all next of kin are informed.
