Gardaí probe fatal Kilkenny shootings

An investigation is underway this morning following the deaths of two men in related shooting incidents in Co Kilkenny.

The first shooting happened at Graigenamanagh in County Kilkenny at 11am yesterday morning.

The victim, a man in his thirties from Garyduff, has not yet been named.

An ambulance was later called to the scene amid reports of a second shooting.

Gardaí are not looking for anyone in connection with the incident.

Chief Superintendent Pat Murphy confirmed the death of a second man shortly after 6pm.
