AA adds to fear over rising fuel costs

The AA is predicting petrol and diesel prices will rise in the coming days. The organisation believes prices at the pumps would go up by as much as 5cent per litre because of Hurricane Katrina.

The AA said it wouldn’t be surprising if a litre of unleaded petrol rose to €1.30. However it claims this rise will most likely be short term.
