Labour demands Govt honour promise of extra gardaí

The Labour Party has reiterated its demand that the Government provide the 2,000 extra gardaí it has promised.

Party spokesman Joe Costello said the extra officers were obviously needed following the deaths of five people in violent incidents in the last 10 days.
