Parents Council slams sale of Playboy logo stationery

The National Parents Council has criticised the sale of children's stationery carrying the logo of the Playboy pornography empire.

The council has expressed disgust at the fact that notebooks, pencil cases and other items bearing the company's renowned bunny logo are being sold to schoolchildren.

It said the matter raised serious questions about the ethics of Irish retailers and parents should boycott the products and request that they be removed from the shelves.
