Priority to be given to new Leaving Cert maths syllabus

Education Minister Mary Hanafin has asked the Curriculum Board to prioritise a new maths syllabus for Leaving Cert students.

Ms Hanafin said today that she had made the request due to the high failure rate in both Ordinary and Higher Level maths in recent years.
