€1m cocaine haul seized in Dublin

Gardaí tonight seized one million euro worth of cocaine in a “drugs factory” in south Dublin.

One man was arrested by officers following the seizure of 12kg of cocaine and another 10kg of mixing agent.

The drugs were seized as part of an ongoing operation by the Crumlin Drugs Unit.

Bags, scales and manual pressers for pressing the cocaine into blocks were also seized in the raid, gardaí said.

“We believe the house was being used as a drugs factory for mixing, blocking and distributing cocaine for the south city,” a detective said.
