A murder investigation was launched in north Belfast today following the death of a teenage boy.

A murder investigation was launched in north Belfast today following the death of a teenage boy.

Police have released few details about the incident, which happened late last night.

However, it has emerged the 15-year-old and a friend were near a petrol station shortly before the killing.

Officers were called to the area at about 11.50pm.

Detectives in North Queen Street have appealed for information.
