Teen dies in Kerry river

A 19-year-old man has drowned in a river in Co Kerry. Gardaí say the accident happened shortly after 6am this morning in the Muckross area of Killarney.

The body has been removed to Kerry General Hospital where a post-mortem will be carried out.

The dead man's name has not yet been released.
