A fishing boat that had been in danger of sinking off the Co Galway coast is now making its way to a nearby harbour.

A fishing boat that had been in danger of sinking off the Co Galway coast is now making its way to a nearby harbour.

The vessel sent out a Mayday distress signal after it was holed off Connemara at 6am.
