Fishing boat in difficulty off Galway

Rescue services were today on their way to a fishing boat in difficulty off the Co Galway coast.

The vessel, which has one person on board, is reported to be taking on water one mile off Gollum Head in Connemara.

Met Eireann had earlier issued a Small Craft Warning that winds off the west coast could reach up to Force 7 strength this morning.
