Search operation under way in Co Kerry

A search and rescue operation is underway in Co Kerry this evening.

Three people went missing after taking to the sea off Ballybunion in an inflatable dinghy.

The alarm was raised shortly after 4.30pm.

It's thought that two men and one woman may be trapped in caves.

The coastguard helicopter, gardaí, and Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue are all involved in the search.
