The Broadcasting Commission has sanctioned a new television station aimed mainly at 15-35-year-olds.

The Broadcasting Commission has sanctioned a new television station aimed mainly at 15-35-year-olds.

Channel 6 will be carried on the NTL and Chorus platforms and will be redistributed on Sky satellite.

It will broadcast initially for 12 hours a day from Monday to Friday, with longer hours at the weekend.

Meanwhile, the commission also said today that it planned to advertise a number of new radio licences for a number of regional youth services, a semi-national talk station and a national religious station.
