Teenager killed as car hits wall in Meath

A 19-year-old man has died after the car he was travelling in crashed into a wall in Trim, Co Meath, last night.

A second 19-year-old was also injured in the accident, which happened at Drumree shortly before 11pm.

A total of 219 people have now died in road crashes throughout Ireland this year, nine of them since last Friday.
