Mayo accident victim named
The victim of this morning's fatal crash in Co Mayo has been named.
70-year-old Julie Fitzgerald from Balla was killed when the car, in which she was a passenger, was involved in a collision at Rathduff near Balla shortly before 9am.
The man who died following a road traffic collision near Kanturk, Co. Cork this morning has also been named.
The deceased was Thomas O'Brien, age 24, from Clogheen House, Kilroe, Kanturk. Two other men were injured in the collision, one seriously, and a further two men, both passengers, escaped injury.
All are from the locality.
