Call for compulsory training for bikers

All motorcyclists should have to undergo a compulsory training course before taking to the tarmac, it was claimed today.

After two riders lost their lives on Irish roads at the weekend, Progressive Democrat Senator Tom Morrissey said action must be taken to improve safety.
