Woman dies as lorry crushes car in Derry

A 63-year-old woman has died after the car she was travelling in was crushed beneath a lorry in Derry last night.

The woman has been named as Margaret Longworth, from the Woodlands area of the city.

She was in the car with her daughter and two grandsons when it collided with the lorry on the Foyle Bridge.

The lorry overturned on top of the car, but the three other occupants escaped with only minor injuries.
