FG: Ireland must set aid example for rest of Europe

Fine Gael MEP Simon Coveney has called on the Government to set an example for the rest of Europe in the area of overseas aid.

Mr Coveney was speaking ahead of a debate at the European Parliament in Strasbourg today on how the EU should respond to the 'Make Poverty History' campaign.
