Two men arrested in connection with east Belfast murder
Two men have been arrested in Belfast in connection with the murder of loyalist Jameson Lockhart on Friday.
The two men were taken in for questioning earlier today and are being held at Antrim Police Station Interrogation Unit.
Jameson Lockhart died instantly when he came under a hail of gunfire as he drove a lorry in east Belfast on Friday morning.
He had LVF associations and the UVF is believed to have been responsible.
The UVF wants to force the LVF out of Belfast entirely and it is believed it will be displaying a show of strength in the guise of a war memorial march on Saturday.
Some LVF men in Belfast have already left the area but, by putting out hundreds of men on the Shankhill Road, the UVF hopes to encourage more to go.
