Gardaí: Drowned man may have burglary link

Gardaí believe a man whose body was recovered from the River Slaney in Wexford this morning may have been involved in a burglary in the area.

It is thought that the man and two others broke into the Roadstone quarry last night. They then drove away from the scene, but their car crashed. It is thought the men fled across fields and tried to swim across the river.
