Police in the North are investigating four overnight paramilitary-style punishment attacks in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.

Four men were attacked with bricks, hammers and meat cleavers in the attacks in the Woodburn and Castlemara estates at around 10pm. The PSNI said it did not know if the incidents were related.
