FG: Govt has slashed home help hours

The opposition party has obtained information which suggests the Government has slashed two million hours of home help service for the elderly since 2003.

Fine Gael has said, according to the HSE's recently published National Service Plan, home help hours in 2004 were two million less than promised by former Health Minister Micheál Martin.
