Police in Belfast attacked by youths

Police in Belfast were attacked by stone-throwing youths during two incidents in the west of the city last night.

Police in Belfast were attacked by stone-throwing youths during two incidents in the west of the city last night.

A PSNI land rover was damaged during the first attack on the Springfield Road at around 9pm, while another police vehicle was targeted a short time later on Distillery Road.

A petrol bomb was also thrown at the land rover during the Distillery Road attack.

No officers were injured in either incident.
