Public bodies to be forced to produce adverts in Irish

The Government is reportedly planning to force all of Ireland's 642 public bodies to produce Irish language versions of all their advertisements.

Reports this morning said the move, which will cost these bodies millions of euros every year, would be introduced under the Official Languages Act.
