Orange actions prompt fears of marching season trouble
Fears of potential trouble during this year's loyalist marching season in the North are growing due to recent actions by the Orange Order.
The order is refusing to fill in legal forms naming people responsible for marches, prompting the Parades Commission to declare a range of planned parades illegal.
Two of these parades have already gone ahead in east Belfast, but police have only responded by cautioning Orange Order Grand Master Robert Salters.
Around 20,000 loyalists are due to take part in another of the marches on July 1 and unionists have warned of a Drumcree-style stand-off if the police attempt to prevent it.
